Python Developer

Field of expertise: Developer / Software Engineer | in Zurich | Permanent employment

For our Zurich based Financial services client we are looking for an experienced Python Developer.

In this Python Developer job, you will be responsible for working closely with the Quantitative Risk Modelling team to develop full stack software solutions for their mathematical models. You will be responsible for the design and development of the applications from a full stack perspective so strong all round knowledge is extremely beneficial.

To apply for this Python Developer job, you should have:

  • Significant Python Development experience, ideally working for financial services clients in a Risk/Quantitative area
  • Experience of working with both front-end technologies (such as JavaScript and React) as well as back-end and database experience (such as SQL or Oracle)
  • Experience or knowledge of DevOps and Cloud based technologies and practices
  • Mathematical skills/knowledge are appreciated, but this is not a Quant position
