Quant Java Developer

Field of expertise: Developer / Software Engineer | in Zurich | Permanent employment

For our Zurich financial services client we are searching for an experienced Quant Java Developer to join their development team.

As the successful applicant for this job you will be working with the development team as part of your responsibilities to provide improvement to their existing banking software whilst developing prototype models and implementing their mathematical models using your Java and Quant experiences and knowledge. This role requires someone who is customer oriented, innovative, willing and comfortable working with large-scale IT systems.

To apply for this Quant Java Developer job, you should have:

  • High academic background in Math, Science, Engineering, PhD preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working in a Quant position, within financial services, with highly mathematical models.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience working as a Java Developer
  • Fluent in German (C1)
  • Strong Analytical and Solution oriented mindset
