Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to join our client to help design and implement security frameworks for a greenfield Azure cloud environment. The role involves ensuring the security, scalability, and compliance of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design: Develop security architectures for greenfield Azure cloud environments, ensuring best practices for security and compliance.
• Azure Cloud Security: Configuration and hardening of Azure infrastructure, including IAM, network security, data encryption, and threat monitoring.
• Risk and Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Tool Implementation: Configure security tools (e.g., Azure Security Center, Sentinel) and implement continuous monitoring.
• Collaboration: Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate security into deployment processes.
• Documentation and Training: Create security documentation and provide mentorship to IT teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in IT security architecture; strong experience with greenfield Azure implementations.
• Skills: Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure AD, Key Vault), knowledge of security frameworks, and DevSecOps practices.
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred.

• Act as the primary point of contact for German-speaking clients, understanding their security requirements and providing expert advice.

• Design, implement, and maintain effective firewall and IT security architectures.

• Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) and Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) are highly desirable.

IT Security Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for Azure-based and on premise systems, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of IAM solutions, ensuring secure access controls and authentication mechanisms.
• Provide expertise in Microsoft 365 security features and configurations to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies to recommend and implement continuous improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Security Architect, with a focus on Azure, IAM, and M365.
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure security features, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and MS Defender

• Lead, manage, and drive the development of the "Identity Services" team
• Ensure the stable operation of diverse IT infrastructure systems including Active Directory (AD), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Citrix, and IaaS Server Management.
• Support the migration of on-premise Active Directory (AD) to Azure Active Directory (AAD) in alignment with the public cloud strategy.
• Derive, plan, and execute strategic goals within the IT department.

• Develop and execute the IT and data security strategy, governance framework, and security roadmap for our global financial platform, which is based on SAP S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, and SAS.
• Oversee secure platform operations, including IAM, SOC, CIS, and Incident Response, while ensuring service availability through business continuity management, disaster recovery capabilities, and data security measures.
• Collaborate closely with management, IT teams, and other stakeholders to optimize security measures and align them with organizational goals.
• Drive the evolution of our group-wide security strategy and services, evaluating, conceptualizing, and implementing security initiatives in coordination with the group risk management and group IT board.
• Ensure compliance with risk management specifications outlined in the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Provide consolidated reporting on digital operational resilience, presenting KPI/KRI data on security, controls, backup, restore, and testing.
• Offer technical and functional guidance for the ongoing development of the financial platform, as well as for group-wide initiatives integrating IT security considerations.
• Partner with external experts and service providers to conduct security testing, assessments, and monitoring. Derive actionable measures and oversee their implementation.

• Continuous education in security or certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CISSP, along with a solid grasp of the CIS Control Framework.
• Proficiency in contemporary cloud and security infrastructures, platforms, and SaaS solutions (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, Azure, AWS, M365).
• Substantial professional experience and current knowledge in information and cyber security, possibly gained through roles as a security architect, security engineer, or CISO.

• You proactively identify emerging actors and attack vectors and integrate mitigating controls into security architectures ;
• You lead the development and maintenance of cyber security architecture artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards, and procedures) ;

• You have a Bachelor's degree: business degree, technology related field, or equivalent education related experience ;
• You have 8+ years of combined experience in architecture and solution design in an information security context;
• You have a proven track record and experience in the following areas within a highly complex, global organization:
• Develop and implement secure solution architectures and designs;
• Develop and drive the adoption of an enterprise security architecture.
• You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of English;
• You are motivated and reliable, you know how to show rigor while being a force of proposal, in particular in term of continuous improvement;
• You have very good interpersonal skills and are able to convince others to improve their practices.

Azure Cloud Security Architect

In this job as an Azure Cloud Security Architect you will be involved in planning, controlling and developing the cloud security infrastructure for our client in an AGILE setting.

Senior Security Officer

In this job as a Senior Security Officer you will support the decision-making process of C level executives while taking the lead on the monitoring and analysing of risk and security issues across a full range of security topics. The successful candidate will be an important contact point for security reports, security processes and security controls. You will propose and execute improvements to our existing ISMS and be a key contributor to internal security training sessions and awareness programs. The successful candidate must be completely comfortable working in a technical German speaking environment.

In this Senior Security Officer job you will be in charge of ensuring a wide range of security topics including ensuring that security processes and controls are continually upgraded to protect against all new and existing security threats. You will review proposals and partake in the integration of the approved upgrades into the current system.
