PostgresSQL DBA

For our consultancy client working in the financial services sector we are looking for an experienced PostgresSQL DBA to join thier team.

This job can be completed approx 80% working from home and 1 day from Zurich offices. The successful candidate will need to be based in Switzerland or willing to relocate here.

In this PostgresSQL DBA job, we are looking for someone with significant database administration experience. In this challenging job you will be doing a mixture of tasks including support and administration of existing PostgresSQL databases, performing back ups, migrating other RDBMS to PostgresSQL, optimisting and monitoring database performance and automating database tasks where possible.

• Several years experience working as a DBA within large environments
• Strong PostgresSQL knowledge and experience
• Experience with backups, disaster recovery, automation (i.e. scripting) or cloud computing is an advantage
• EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit
