Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Infrastructure Management:

   • Engineer and manage extensive backend infrastructures with over 800 virtual servers using VMware vSphere.
   • Implement new applications across the company, ensuring quality standards and stable server operations.

2. Project Participation:

   • Play a vital role in innovative projects related to Datacenter & Backend Systems.
   • Use your in-depth knowledge to drive projects forward and implement future-ready solutions.

3. Collaboration and Support:

   • Collaborate with IT customer service, application managers, and partners.
   • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, leveraging your expertise to assist colleagues effectively.

4. System Optimization:

   • Ensure the smooth operation and performance of the Windows Server environment.
   • Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, JavaScript) to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Certifications in System Engineering (e.g., VCP, MCSE, ITILv3).
  • Additional higher education qualification (HF or FH) is a plus.

• Experience:

  • Extensive and versatile knowledge in Datacenter & Backend Systems, VMware (vSphere, vRA, NSX), Windows Server, and scripting.
  • At least 4 years of practical experience in Datacenter & Backend Systems.

• Skills:

  • Excellent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • High level of commitment, including willingness to participate in on-call duty.
  • Initiative and proactive approach to tasks and projects.
