Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring the platform is utilized to its full potential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules and a track record of successful ServiceNow implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultation and Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to understand the current state and future needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Design and Development:
- Design and architect ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, ITBM, CSM) according to best practices.
- Develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Implementation and Integration:
- Lead the implementation of ServiceNow modules and applications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools.
- Manage data migration and ensure data integrity during platform changes.
Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize the platform for performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Training and User Adoption:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators.
- Develop user guides and training materials to enhance platform adoption.
Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Report on project progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Consultant or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in implementing and customizing ServiceNow modules.
- Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, AngularJS, or GlideScript.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Certifications:
- All ServiceNow certitifications are a plus
Skills:
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Fluent German and good English
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Project management experience is a plus.
